As discussed with En XXX, the maximum duration that you can go is 40 days. If you want to joint the “Kursus Kefahaman Islam”, you can schedule it in staggered manner not recommended 4 months direct. This is because as a staff you have an obligation to the company and it is your responsibility to perform any duty/task assigned to you. It is our duty as a leader in our family to find “nafkah” for our family.
If you are not around whether you realize or not some one else has to carry out your task. It is not fair to them and what I’m worry is people will have negative perception on you and “Jamaah Tabligh” in general. If this happen surely we will not be able to portray good image about Islam and this will become one of many reasons of our failure in dakwah.
Leaving your wife alone to take care of your children will affect her feeling and emotion. You also need to consider this issue when leaving your wife for quite a long time. She is just an ordinary woman that needs your guidance and attention. When she is in disagreement with you, she will normally just keep silent and we as a husband need to learn and understand their body language. Understanding or learning about Islam can be done through weekly program at Surau and also nearby masjid or surau. You can also utilize Ustaz XXXXXX for this purpose.

Insya Allah, this is the first hurdle ,jangan putus asa. It took my family almost more than 3 years before my hubby finally got the opportunity for his 4 months. Persevere and make lots of doa. Insya ALlah, Allah knows what/when is best for us.
