OK.. So I have not been assigned to any specific tasks yet.. I did went to the plant for an extensive site visit with brother Zul (ex-HSE guy here in Project); me being a certified SHO (Safety Health Officer) I did have a few comment about the plant. Anyhow the actual task was to check out on the PCP plant project by Mutalib. He had asked me to follow up on the project this week; he;s still on Raya holidays. As for me I'd already used up all my paid leaves, so I had to come back to the office early.
Raya was quite fun this year for the family; as for me its becoming less 'fun'. Its really not anybody's fault actually, being away for 40 days during Ramadan did have some effect on me. Spending time in the path of Allah during ramadan is a blessing and its totally different compared to the last khuruj in Sungai Petani, Kedah last year. Amirsab once said to be that Ramadan Jemmat is an "Amal Jemmat"; you spend time concentrating with your own amal and also dakwah.
The scheduling of the 40 days for Ramadan is different; you'd have earlier Gash (Jaulah, Ziarah i.e before Asar) You'll have to bear the local Tadarus time slot (typically after tarawih to sometime up to 1 am!) Tahajjud is at 4am and those who 'Khidmat' had to wake up earlier. Quite an experience. Overall wonderful experience.
*InsyaAllah "azam" again every year 40 days; been scolded by Syura Malaysia for requesting an early "Wabsi" is priceless!
