When we had Adam I decided to follow sunnah as close as possible; I did managed to perform Aqiqah for Adam on the 7th day of his birth. I requested Hj Azzaharuddin to sacrifice 2 male goat; quite expensive RM400 each..I was lucky because an Arabic Jemmat was around; so I decided to feast them with a special "Kambing masak merah" I never had that before but it was suprisingly nice. I learn a lot from Hj. Zaharuddin about Aqiqah; for example the meat cuts; you're not suppose to break the bone when preparing for the meat; so you ended up having mutton cuts as long as your arm. But then again if you follow sunnah and eat together in a rounded tray that would not be a problem :)
The adab bercukur event was held some where in September; we combine doa selamat and kenduri arwah for Ayu's dad. I had to drive back from Paka (I was actually away out 3H with Jemaah Rumah Murah Paka)to attend the event. It was ok. Tok Umie kinna annoyed me when she came to cut Adam's hair in the middle of a all male marhaban. I suppose she's used to all-female marhaban; (we did that for Eisha.)
